The project addresses and fosters collaboration among youth workers, young people, including those with disabilities, decision-makers, and organisations working towards social and environmental sustainability.
Through targeted actions and advocacy, the project seeks to empower youth and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard in shaping policies and urban development. By involving key stakeholders, including policymakers, NGOs, and civil society organisations, ACT4DYS drives meaningful change toward greener, more accessible cities for all.

The project will address these needs and challenges by:
Specific Objectives
Build the capacity and train youth workers/trainers in all partner countries, on disability-inclusive development practices, using the simulation-based training package, to increase their confidence in supporting young persons with disabilities in urban development initiatives.
Raise awareness on the challenges faced by young persons with disabilities in urban mobility and emphasise the importance of including them in the fight against climate change, by conducting awareness raising campaigns, trainings, and workshops on the importance of sustainable inclusive urban development by the end of the project.
Design and develop innovative material and resources on sustainable urban development and inclusive mobility, including an e-learning platform with interactive modules and mini-games.
Develop and disseminate a policy paper with actionable recommendations for improving urban mobility inclusivity, targeting local and national authorities in all partner countries, by consolidating project findings and leveraging the consortium’s networks for policy advocacy.
